Welcome !

794logoChristian Troop 794 has been chartered to Mission Hill Church since March 1, 1992.  We are a family oriented year-round troop that convenes on Thursday night. Being a large troop with an annual membership of 70 scouts, we consistently earn the National Gold Level Award of Excellence for our annual program, which includes: outings, community service, summer camp and high adventure. We specialize in climbing Colorado’s 14’ers and participate in the Triple Crown Award by attending the National High Adventure Bases including; Philmont, Sea Base, Northern Tier & The Summit. We strongly believe in trained leadership and promote scout participation at ILST, BigHorn NYLT, NAYLE, Okpik, Wilderness First Aid & Leave No Trace. To subsidize our outdoor programming we participate in the annual DAC fundraiser - Trails End Popcorn. 25% of scouts who join Troop 794 earn the rank of Eagle Scout.

2016 August 14-er Outing

Posted on Jun 19 2016 - 10:05pm

The August outing this year is our annual 14er.  This year we will be hiking Mt. Yale and staying at the Collegiate Peaks Campground. Attached is the flyer/consent form.  We will be taking sign-ups until July 28.  We will be limited to 16 drivers and 50 campers with each driver taking 3-4 people, per campground policy.  I will also need adults cooks for all meals so please consider helping out in that area.  Scouts under the age of 13 will need to hike with a parent in the event they need to turn around, the parent can return to camp with him.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

How this fundraiser works:
Each scout will deliver flyers around his neighborhood, at church or to family and friends. We are collecting: clothing, shoes, accessories, books, linens and small household items (no furniture).
